Are gifts tax-deductible?
No. Gifts go to a family, not a charity, so they can’t be deducted on your taxes. It’s like handing money to someone you love.
Do we have to set a fundraising goal?
No. There is no goal to set. People give what they want, and the page shows what the family has received.
How fast does the money arrive?
Stripe usually sends the first payout about 7 to 14 days after the first gift. After that, gifts typically reach the bank in about two business days.
Can more than one person manage the page?
Yes. Invite family members with one link. Everyone you add can edit the page and send thank yous.
What if the family isn’t ready to deal with a bank account?
Someone else can handle it. Add your own bank account and pass the money along, or invite a family member to add theirs when they’re ready.
